This book was terrific. It tells you about more than just dinosaurs, it's a trip from the Cambrian Period to the 21st century. It'll also tell you about sea monsters and Pterosaurs and other lizards like Coelurosauravus and Diplocaulus and things from the Ice Age like Borhyaena and Colossochelys.This book divided the Cretaceous into two parts.
I really love it! Imean the first time I read it and saw the colorful illustrations I fliped out I mean it is cool really,really cool . thepoint is that I think you should read it if you see it in stores!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my four year old's favourite books, and I'm confident it's going to hold his appeal for years to come. We also have the Bugs and Sharks books.
ReplyDeleteIt's irritating how much it over-focuses on how each animal might be dangerous to humans (in the cases of Sharks and Bugs) or to each other (in the case of the Dinosaur book). That said - that's also part of the allure.
Another problem is that this is a Barnes & Noble specific book and we've found it hard to find the other books in the series.
My son loves the book and we read it almost every night. He has lots of favorite dinosaurs in the book.
